Always thinking about a more versatile way of using my existing tools I built a protractor for my adjustable angle from the back of an old furniture. It works for long although it looks a bit old-fashioned and help me to set up and check up saw blade angle or tilting tables or angle of jointer fence amongst so many other things. So I screwed it near from the workbench.

Put the adjustable angle against the left stop and rotate the blade lining up the notch with the protractor scale then screw the wing nut.

Sometimes I need accuracy and compute the tangent then draw some lines on a scrap wood.
