Wheel Module Pressure

Due to the riving knife and some specific needs I didn't want to make a feather board that would prevent the workpiece from being pulled. That accessory lets the stock go back and forth and pushes the workpiece against the fence close to the working tool. I wished a wheel module pressure that could be locked and released without tool and could be stored into a near cabinet which means the whole length to be less than the shelf depth.

Overview

The metal strip slide into the carriage groove and two knobs locks the module. The dual aperture enables for the setting of the accessory at right angle as well as a slightly bevelled one. This strongly helps for the application of a moderate pressure against uneven workpieces.

Tool

Here are the details. The base was formed in a mahogany offcut and the circle fixture helped for the machining of the plywood wheel that could be quickly replaced if needed. As for the remaining and given I have never been keen on working metal I reused spare elements left in the workshop.
