Saw Blade Rack
Carefully keeping saw blades but also securely handling them is a common problem in all shops and after much consideration encompassing the smallest storage space I ended up with the following rack. It allows for eight floors over the
cabinet shelf that accommodates the
riving knives but also the spanner and stud required to replace the blade. The
wheel module pressure and two push blocks and a thin push stick lay on the top of the saw blade rack.
Two grooved sides were merely stuck with the top and bottom trays and one saw blade 300mm (12") in diameter or several small ones may be laid on seven pull-out trays. Each tray was bored about 75mm (3") from the front so that proving a way of slightly rising the blade before grasping the centre hole. The below drawing gives all needed dimensions.
