Router Circle Jigs

Rather than getting rid of a small aluminium plate I came up with the idea of making an added circle jig for the hand held router. The origin accessory allows a limited range from one hundred to two hundred and fifty millimetres in radius whereas the new one enables radius from about fifty millimetres.

Overview

The left aluminium plate shape was near from what you may see above and I drilled some holes accommodating the centre pin usually screwed into the workpiece. Two grooves allows the plate to be clamped onto the router base with the same star buttons the origin accessory needs. The groove depth matches the dimension between two centre-pin holes allowing accurate adjustment and a wood extension may meet any needed radius.
