The two hundred and eighty millimetres saw blade in diameter provided with the machine was not an usual dimension. So I decided to modify the blade housing so that it could accommodate a three hundred millimetres one although I most of time use two hundred and fifty millimetre blades.

Here is the two-part cover ending with the dust collector outlet. Looking for the best solution I was afraid that the housing couldn't hold such diameter. The lock knob was so close...

But it worked and filing the cast aluminium front and back part enclosing the blade was a quick task to achieve.
